Law of Seizure of goods: Debtors Rights and Remedies. John Kruse
Amazing time-limited offer
£25.00 instead of £49.95!!
ONLY from the CAG

This book was written specifically to help lawyers provide advice to people facing seizure of their goods by bailiffs.
The author says:-
The book is designed for practitioners assisting the following groups:
- debtors: whether they are individuals, members of partnerships or limited companies;
- the debtor’s relatives: whether spouses, cohabitees, children or other family members who might find themselves involved in enforcement;
- tenants & lodgers of debtors (or their families); or, third parties with an interest in property on the debtor’s premises, whether they are holders of bills of sale or debentures, trustees or liquidators in an insolvency, finance companies who have let property on lease or hire purchase, manufacturers with claims under retention of title clauses, other creditors of the distrainee or any other third party whose goods might be threatened.
This is the book on the law relating to Bailiffs and their powers of seizure which is probably in the library of every County Court in the country and which forms the basis of training programs for Bailiffs.
This book normally sells for £49.95 but we are able to offer it for a limited period only - probably until the end of June for
£25 + pp £3.50
This is a stunning price. Believe it or not - even its recommended price of almost £50 is cheap for a practitioner's book;
at £25 it's a steal!!
This book is used by legal practitioners. There are some parts of it which are likely to provide some difficult reading for non-lawyers and those not used to reading law-books. However an awful lot of it is fully understandable and if you are dealing with debt problems and facing the possibility of bailiffs and seizure of your personal property, vehicle or even your homes, then you will certainly find everything you need in this book so that you understand exactly what are your rights, what are your duties and the kinds of action you can take when receiving a visit from a bailiff and what to do if the bailiff goes beyond the limits of what he is allowed to do.
You will find that there are very few people who are fully clued up on bailiffs. There is a lot of rumour and of course people are very often scared. A lot of this comes from not really understanding the subject. Bailiffs probably realise this and so normally the odds are against you.
If you can take the trouble to read up relevant parts of this book, you can even up the balance somewhat.
this is not a book which needs reading from cover to cover. Don't worry. No law books are intended to be used that way.
This is a book to browse through and to pick out the parts which interest you and which are relevant to your situation.
The book is complete. It has got everything and although it contains a lot of technical jargon, case names, statutes and so on, it is very well laid out with lots of clear topic titles throughout each chapter so that it is quite easy to find the pages which are particularly relevant to you.
With careful use of the topic subheadings and the index you will very quickly find your way round the book and start to get comfortable with it.
Ignore the case names and the Statute names and the book becomes quite manageable. If you find technical words or phrases that you don't understand, then Google them and you'll soon find out the meaning.
If there are parts you don't understand then you can always discuss them on this forum. There will be others who will know the answer and of course we will help you whenever we can.
