NutGoneFlake v Barclays ** WON **
Barclays have had their defence struck out in my case against them!
The Judge has ordered them to repay me the bank charges, interest and all court costs.
What a brilliant feeling it was too when I opened the letter from court!! I don't mind admitting that I was quite emotional
(tears of joy .... honest!).
A quick question if someone would be so kind: What do I do now?- Sit and wait for them to pay
- Wait a while and start bugging them for the money or
- Contact their legal department and ask for the money now!

* CONGRATULATIONS !!*
I'd be contacting their litigation dept. to push them along.
a couple of questions:
which court was this in?
do you have a copy of the judgement, and would you be willing to post it here for others to see? (no personal information, obviously!)

Thanks for the responses
It was in Mansfield. I am at work at the moment so can't post the Judgement. I might be able to find the time later if you're still interested.

Re: NutGoneFlake v Barclays ** WON **
Hi there
I've just got my money today from the same situation. AS SOON as I got the letter I went down to the court with my form N225 (Fill in and print from the County Courts website). They told me I would get my certificate of judgement within a couple of days.
When you get that, the Bank HAS to pay you, so ring the Litigation Department or email (Dino is a good one to try) and tell them you want to receive the funds in your account/by cheque within a certain number of days or you will be contacting the court again to discuss your options for recovery. They will try and mess you about by saying they have to wait to receive the judgement, or that they haven't got it yet, so say no problem, you can fax or e-mail them a copy (Of the CERTIFICATE OF JUDGEMENT).
I hope it goes well - we ended up waiting a week or so longer than we really needed to because we were naive in thinking when they promised 5 days it would be there!
Check out my thread (beaky79) if you want any more info.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
