Thumbs up Grimlock Vs Barclays *SETTLED*

    Hi

Short and Sweet, but I thought you should hear my story as its quite different to other peoples.

I obtained my 6 yearsautolinker.com autolinking image of statements and totalled up the charges to £440.00. It took me about 6 months after that to start the ball rolling by writing the first letter asking for the charges back.

Unfortunately after about a week of writing I totally lost track of dates due to some personal issues in my life. When I finally got back on track to thinking about bank charges again, I realised that over 3 weeks had passed and I had messed up good and proper! :o I decided to give up for now as I hadn't kept to my guidelines and new they wouldnt take me serious.

2 days later (approx 3.5 weeks from first letter) I recieved a letter offering a 75% settlement of £330.00.

Many people will think I was wrong, but I hapily accepted the money. If it was £4000.00 I was claiming and they offered £3000 it would have been different, but for the sake of £110.00, I was over the moon to accept!

To summarise - £330 for writing 1 letter? Damn staight! I really couldnt care less about an extra £110 - £200 extra for the risk of going to court and not even getting it back.

Anyone in doubts about doing this thing, go for it!
