    Default Offer from Cahoot

I'd put this in the wrong forum and have been asked to C&P it into here:

I've just had by email an offer from cahoot to refund all charges - is there a special way I go about accepting this, I can't find anything for this part thanks - just been trawling through other cahoot posts and it seems that this website is having an effect my offer reads:

"I am writing to you in reply to your letter dated 6th October 2006. I have taken ownership of your case in order to provide a response to the issues raised in your letter.
It is well known that banks make charges and cahoot's charges are in line with those of other banks. The terms and conditionsautolinker.com autolinking image of the account and the charges that apply are clear and fair and were provided to you at the time you opened it. You freely agreed to the terms and conditionsautolinker.com autolinking image and the charges when you opened the account. You were not under any obligation to do so and could have gone to another bank if you did not agree to the charges. Equally, you are free to move your account to another bank at any time if you do not agree with the charges.
In any event, we do not agree that the charges are disproportionate. The charges are reasonable and proportionate to the administrative costs incurred by cahoot.
Having reviewed the history of your account I can see that in general your account has been well managed and the charges detailed in your letter represent uncharacteristic breaches of our terms and conditionsautolinker.com autolinking image. Given this and the fact that you have been a customer for almost six years I am willing to consider a full refund of the charges as a gesture of goodwill. I propose to credit your cahoot current account with the amount of £xx. I'd be grateful if you could email me to confirm that you are happy to accept this payment in Full and finalautolinker.com autolinking image settlement of your complaint.
Please be assured I have carried out a full investigation for you and I hope you feel I have offered a fair response to all of the issues you've raised. I will keep your file open for the next 8 weeks and if I don't hear from you within that time, I will assume that everything is resolved and will close your file. If you remain dissatisfied though you can find details of how to take your complaint further within Abbeyautolinker.com autolinking image at legal T&Ts under the heading 'Complaints policy'. The complaints policy also explains your ultimate right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsmanautolinker.com autolinking image Service.
    Kind regards
    Paul Evans
    Service Relationship Manager, cahoot"

this is very different from other letters from cahoot on this site dated earlier this year - i just don't know if it has to have "withouth prejudice" in it or does my reply/acceptance have to have "without prejudiceautolinker.com autolinking image" in it.

They haven't offered to pay any interestautolinker.com autolinking image on the charges just the charges themselves but the interest was only £26.94 - I know of my money but I think i'd rather take the full refund of charges with no hassle
