leaphaze vs Cahoot
Hi friends,
I have a relatively small amount to reclaim, just £47.99, but it's the principle that counts.
I sent off my first letter 5 days ago and had two emails from Cahoot yesterday: an acknowledement and then a standard no. I'm going to wait the 14 days then send them an LBA (letter before action ).
I have two questions.
1: because I'm claiming a smaller sum are they more likely to fold earlier (banks in general, not just Cahoot)?
2: many posts mention sending emails rather than letters; because it's more convient, quicker and cheaper than composing/printing/stamping/posting a letter, I wonder whether a bank attaches the same weight to an email?
Anyway, good luck to everyone to this path.

Re: leaphaze vs Cahoot
I'd have thought you could get those back just my winging on the phone to a manager TBH and because its out of character for you as a customer - usually refund but if they don't still do it - you can get all costs back and you will win.
