    Default Barclay card initial

    hi
    i don't have a a bad credit history but not getting any credit for some reason. have checked my files but nothing found so i'm trying to apply for a barclay intial card and want to get some advise to see if they r any good at buliding credit score and good to have in general.

    Hi Faz,

    It may be that lenders are just more cagey about loans and credit cards these days.

    I can't say if applying for this particular card will help your credit rating.

    However, each application that is unsuccessful may count against you.

    Also, paying credit cards and loans on time and having credit available on card accounts will improve your rating IMHO.
