Yes car credit
Hi,
i've been watching all the news etc regarding reclaiming this type of insurance, but does anyone know if this covers hp on a car.
We purchased our car from the dreaded yes car credit company in jan 2002, and although i cant remember 100% if we had this kind of protection stuff added, i think they probably would have done.
If i can dig out the paperwork and i discover that yes, we did actually have it, can i reclaim it, and if the answer is yes, who do i contact, because the company has ceased trading as far as i know.
Look forward to your help folks.
Baz
Please note that although my advice is offered, you should consult your legal representative before taking ANY action.

Re: Yes car credit
Hello baz,
I believe it does cover yes car who are renowned for poor service to customers.
If the company has ceased trading then you may be able to approach the Financial Services Compensations Scheme....see this link....

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.
Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
