jellybabe vs Cahoot Credit Card...carry on
Hi there,
have attempted this before but got scared and never carried on.
Are there still Cahoot claims being settled regarding Credit Cards? Or are they all being halted now.
As far as i know they shouldn't be stopped...only for Bank Charges, but i am sure Cahoot will still try and get away with it.
Thanks,
jellybabe

Re: jellybabe vs Cahoot Credit Card...carry on
please...anyone?
still have my statements, and i've been at the first stage of asking back for my charges last year. Will i have to start again?
Not donw the reclaiming bit for ages, and wondered if there is anything new i have to take into account since last year. i think i will start sending them my request for repayment of charges letter again.

Hi Jelly
I think that the reclaiming of charges has only been "stayed" for the banks, I'm 99% sure that for credit cards you can still put a claim in!

Thanks keith,
would you know if its better and quicker to just claim the charges without contractualinterest ?
I'm not sure i have the strength for going into a court room because they object to the interest bit.
thanks,

Re: jellybabe vs Cahoot Credit Card...carry on
Hi Jelly
I'm not sure RE credit card charges as i have only ever claimed bank charges (before the court case). As far as i know the credit card charges don't fall under the same "get outs" the banks are currently using for bank charges, so there is no reason why they can contest them, withinterest or without.
I'm sure someone else will be along who knows more about credit card reclaiming than me!
Good Luck!
Keith

Re: jellybabe vs Cahoot Credit Card...carry on
got my prelim ready.
Added all my charges up andinterest at the rate of 19.9%. That is what they are charging me.
I am a bit scared going for contractual interest. Might even change my mind and leave the interest out, as i don't fully understand the contractual interest thing and on what basis one should claim it, unless someone can clarify that to me and tell me it's ok.
Would be a shame if i had to leave it, as this would make a difference of a few £100 in my claim.
