had another letter from Bcard saying that their offer off £151 of a £627 claim is fair and that this is their final response , do i go through court and risk a stay (already got one for Barclays) or would it be safer going through the fos, thanks Roxy
thanks mrmarmite this is the story so far , 6 years charges £427,.. offered £151,and taking it off overdraft , sent letter asking them for full amount, and to remove offer from my account if they dont. letter from bcard ,your charges actually come to £627 .??????? (on my statements can only find £427 ) but our offer of £151 is our final response. So would you agree MCOL for amount of £427 + interest, even if they dont remove their offer. and do i need to send another lba. just to clarify my position....Roxy
as sea-side lady says go for full amount, if you have already sent the lba continue with court action. good luck, we will be here if need help on court bundles and stuff
thanks sea-sidelady and mrmarmite, will continue with MCOL, slick good to see you, keep an eye on this thread , one question , are particulars of claim on MCOL form same as bank charges but tweaked bit , or is there another version for credit cards........ thanks Roxy

Re: Roxy v B,card refusing offer
Princess,
Sorry to butt in but wouldn't you be better going to local Court with Form N1 so you avoid the auto Stay which MCOL are imposing (or is it different with credit card chgs)

hello again slick ,good to hear from you. iv just rang MCOL, and they are only putting stays on bank charge claims ,and not credit card claims. but in POC must state that it is credit card company that you are issuing your case against............ anyone any PoCs for credit cards??? thanks Roxy
just make sure it Barclay credit card, NOT barclay's bank, remember to include account number and enclose a copy of charges applied to the account,
this is one i used last and I quote:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"The Defendant Barclay's Bank (barclay credit card a/c: 23252435235) have been charging me, charges, that are contary to the unfair Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 Schedule 2(e).
(add bit bout interest if you claiming 8% (just copy and paste details on mcol site)
I am also claiming the £10 fee as required for S.A.R under the Data Protection Act 1998"
end quote
