Tagal V Barclays Won at last
Hi, just an update.
As you know,Barclays refused to refund any charges of my charges and disagreed that charges were unfair.
I decided to go theOmbudsman route as I had my final response from Barclays which they require before taking on cases. Court really wasn't for me at this moment in time.
I filled in the complaint form on the 26th June, and am so pleased to say that today have received a letter from theOmbudsman to say that although Barclays do not agree that the charges are unlawful, they will refund me the full amount I had asked with interest, rather than the
Ombudsman initiating a formal investigation, (umm, wonder why!)
So this is another route people may like to try and only took 4 weeks from start of complaint to the Ombudsman. But again the Ombudsman need the final response letter from your Bank before acting on your behalf.
I am so pleased, yiphee! X
