Help, Cheque-What next?

Hi, Cheque received, (not full amount) from Cobbetts acting for RBoS. Can I bank it and then send a registered letter accepting only as part payment. Does anyone know what is likely to happen if I do this? Thank you.

Send the cheque back with a rejection letter http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...ng-offers.html I returned a cheque for over £3,700 twice before they got the message. So don't worry DON'T BANK IT.They will take that as an acceptance.
