In january I started claiming back PPI from an old TSB loan from 1998.
They have 3 times in 2 weeks said they cannot find a loan or any other account with the account numbers I gave them (even though the balance is still being collected).
3 times I responded with all account numbers and previous addresses (and copies of letters Lloyds have sent me) and the last one I made a complaint due to their inability to locate a simple loan account.
Well now at least they have found something - but not the PPI or loan.
Today I recieved the letter below asking for a copy of the credit agreement. Isn't it their job to hold on to docs until 5 years after the closure of the account? I wouldn't mind but they never included the £1 fee

.
So after 4 letters they are still no further at looking at the PPI.
Anyway I responded telling them I cannot forward one and they have had all the information I can provide. I also told them to look harder. I also told them I had requested a copy of the agreement from Lloyds brighton but they have ignored me so maybe they should contact them.
Its a good job I can fax them or this ping pong of letters would have took months instead of weeks.
