Default Where to start....

Ok, after taking on Abbey for my boyfriend and smile and first direct I realised I have an old cahoot account that due to very bad planning when i first bought my house, has had to go to a debt management company. As you can imagine, the charges they are piling on me every single month are shocking! So here is my question for someone with hopefully a bit more knowlegege than me, i have a credit card, bank and loan account with them. Can I ask for a breakdown of charges on all 3 and because I'm not sure exactly how long i've had my bank account how many years do I ask for?

Hi,

you can claim up to 6years back,

Send the Subject access requestautolinker.com autolinking image asking for all details on you - this will cover all accounts.

I'd then submit claims for each one seperately personally.

Hi

I just sent them a letter asking for details of all charges levied on the above accounts over the past 6 yearsautolinker.com autolinking image.

I included my current, loan and credit card account on the same letter. Not long after (less than a week later) I got an email saying the details I'd requested were in the post - not long after I got a list of charges.

They weren't that efficent when it came to giving a refund though lol.
