HI my first message !
never really done any thing like this before, i am interested in taking on abbey to reclaim back my charges. I am not really legeally minded and i am not great on computers. but i am determind to get my money back and will keep going no matter what they send me till i get the lot. I think i may need a lot of advise in this and if i manage to claim back my money i wll be very gratefull of anyones help and be more than happy to donate to the website. i will be on most of the day tommorrow reading messages.

I guess i would like to know what i should write in my first letter to abbey as i am not sure how to word things and what facts i need to support my claim. any advise wound be greatly apprecieated

Hi Paul,

Use the templates provided on this site, you firstly need to get all your statements and work out the charges you are able to reclaim. Then send the first letter requesting they refund your charges, if no response or a counter offer, I would proceed to the letter before actionautolinker.com autolinking image (lba) and then when their 2 weeks is up go on to the small claims court and start proceedings. Everthing you need to know is in the FAQ's.

Good Luck
Michelle
