Question El vs Cahoot - list of charges query

Hi all,

I was sent a huge list (40+ pages) of all transactions on my account for the past 6 yearsautolinker.com autolinking image, about 10 days after my request, along with the uncashed cheque that I had originally sent through, so that was a good start.

However, there are a lot of transactions that have no label, and it's obvious that a large majority of these are failed Direct Debits. Some of them obviously aren't, unless they charged me £268 for something!!

Am I supposed to guess which is which, or reapply to Cahoot for a list only of charges to my account, along with detailed breakdown?

Has anyone else had these anonymous transactions? Are they trying to pull a fast one or is there some technical reason as to they they aren't labelled?

Any help much appreciated,
El

Ask them, give them a call and ask them to go through it with you.

I asked, through their secure message thingy on the website, for a list of all charges that they had made against me on my credit card and current account. I recieved a letter in the post with all the charges, and what they were for.
They didn't send me a list of all the transactions that I have made.
They did it pretty quick too, i think I got the letter within 5 days.

Maybe you could ask for the same sort of thing?

Thanks for the advice. I called them, and a woman (who was 'very brief' apparently) told the customer service guy that she would send me what I had originally asked for in the post today.

So fingers crossed!
