Default Maisielou v Barclays - SETTLED!!

After reading all your posts i decided to "have a go" at getting my charges back
I received all my statements last week ( they sent 8 years worth poor postie)
today i have sent off my first letter........so far so good.......you will no doubt
see me on here again for advice...hope thats ok ?

I have read the f&q so many times my head is spinning lol i know this question is more than likely there but if it comes to taking court action on a joint account do both names have to be put on the form..thanks

Hi
I sent my first letter off 10 days ago which Barclays have replied to with the normal blah blah the trouble is after having another look through the statements i have noticed i left £300 off ??? :o :o is it ok to revise the amount when i send my letter before action

Yes - at the end of the day they should know what they have charged you. Just make a note that the figure has been revised after recalculation.

You need to keep your claim to below the 5k threshold to keep it in small claims...you might have to split it into 2 chunks

Regarding the 8% use the Excel spreadsheet in the library and the 8% will be worked out for you...

Do you have excel on your computer? If yes, then download another copy. There is a free alternative to excel if you don't have excel

You don't add the interest on until you put the claim in with the courts!
Leave it out of all the letters.
