Default LS123 V Barclaycard ** WON **

Dear all

I am just at the stage where Barclaycard have today have acknowledged my claim on Money claim.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom/advice or do I just sit it out until I receive a court date.

I can't see many sucesses on here for Bcard - feeling a little nervous now! Lol

There are quite a few succsess threads, they are in the process of being moved to the succsess forum.

There is not a great deal you can do for now.

But if you have a read around the threads the chances are you will come across some winners, and some others who are at the same stage as you.

Dear all

Does anyone know how the commencement of the OFT case will affect credit card claims? I have read the thread whereby it says that individual courts will decide whether to hear bank chargesautolinker.com autolinking image cases now or wait till after ruling has happened - will that be the same with Credit card cases?

Many thanks

Just checked my moneyclaim on-line and Barclaycard have today filed a defence - so I guess I just wait and see what happens now once allocated to my local Court (Southend)

Just want to get this one over and done with - it seems like it's been ongoing forever

Think what the poor bank chargesautolinker.com autolinking image peeps are feeling, especially those that have been waiting for a grouped case to come along, and are now being stayed, for an undetermined amount of time!

Peter

good luck though!

Hi Peter

Yes I have 2 bank charge claims as well that were already stayed until the 13th September before the OFT announcement, so goodness knows when they will be stayed till now - so I know exactly how people are feeling.

This Barclaycard has been going on the longest - Nov last year - aarghh!!

Be interesting to see if you get another Stay then - because in my eyes, that surely IS an abuse of the Human Rights Act and your allowance to have a fair hearing in reasonable time.

Worth reading up on the new Anti-Stay procedures for your Bank dates!

Good luck!

Barclaycard/Barclays have been by far the worst of all institutions to deal with. They're certainly living up to the rotten reputation they earned as a result of the 'Whistleblower' programme earlier this year. The more arrogant and stalling their behaviour the more determined I am to win! I shall be issuing a complaint to the FSA and Information Commissioner`s Office and feel a ...

Received a copy of Barclaycard defence in the post yesterday - all seems quite standard stuff. Case now transferred to local court so I will see what happens now.

I saw in a post with all the courts on it that Southend are staying ALL cases as a matter of practice.

This should make removal slightly easier, as it hasn't been as a result of the CCard company asking for it.

Good luck LS
