Default Mom Vs Barclays - Settled Today

Was claiming just short of £3600.00 for my mom, her court date is next Tuesday and shes received a letter today saying they are settling with her £3000.00. She is still chuffed but that extra £600.00 wouldve came in useful, anyone else been settled for less than they claimed? I have done may claims on behalf of family and friends and they have all been settled in full to the penny i claimed

Talk to the bank and dont stop till you get the whole amount (my opnion) You have a court date, they dont want to go to court, tell them you WILL see what the judge says and hang up. They will call you back to settle for full.

Thanks Moneyking, I am thinking of emailing the bank, but am just worried about jeopardising it, as they may turn round and withdraw the offer and me mom will kill me

Did the offer come from Customer relations or Barclays litigation?

In that case go back to them and say you won't accept anything but the full amount... Are they disputing the amount?

No they just state the usual, that they are settling in full and finalautolinker.com autolinking image settlement, I have just emailed her to see if they are going to settle in full so I will update you to see what she says. I have never seen this before where the banks settle less than the claim amount, fingers crossed !!

Thansk
