Default Enoughisenough Vs Woolwich/Barclays ** WON**

OK Here goes!

Initial letter: 24th January 2007, amount claimed £3300.00 based one one year's evidence X 6 yearsautolinker.com autolinking image estimate. Woolwich Response: Blah blah blah we are sorry you complained 25th January.WOW. I'd delivered to the branch by hand.
2nd February. Another letter full of blandspeak we are fully investigating your complaint 8 weeks etc.

Called 25th feb. Said I'd had enough. was going to file.

Received 27th feb offer of £465 in lieu of ACTUAL charges of £969.50. Rejected this by phone and recieved extra offer of + £50. Rejected immediately on phone

Filed 12th March, followed by usual delaying tactics i.e last miniute defence, all the rest of it.

Radio silennce for months.

Court date set in early May for 23rd July.

PQ not responding to emails even though Dino did say PQ would get back to me.

Late June (28th). Sent settlement offer to PQ. Ignored. Emailed him to withdraw settlement offer. See you in court.

6th July receive rubbish settlement offer from PQ. No interestautolinker.com autolinking image or court charhes added. Rejected by email and registered letter immediately. COPY SENT TO DINO.

Currently prepared to go all the way + (if I win) wasted costs order.

I do NOT want the current habit to take foot. i.e offering settlements, people accepting and then, what no funds after the court date. Nor will i seek a postponement. Hang 'em they haven't even go their bundle in.

OK so that's my case history.

Now going for CAp One £1000+ Subject access requestautolinker.com autolinking image arrived today.

Also going for egg (Unknown) Subject access requestautolinker.com autolinking image pending

Also doing LTSB for my wife (Unknown) Subject Access Request pending

Hi Glad to have come out from under the covers!

PQ is doing my nut. First he doesn't reply in weeks. Then he sends out an offer that supposed to include interestautolinker.com autolinking image and doesn't, in full and finalautolinker.com autolinking image settlement, which of course I rejected. Also threatened to use the without prejudice letter they sent me in court - hard job getting through the door, because he hasn't submitted his bundle. Then he just goes all silent on me again. What are they playing at? In my opinion Dino is rapidly losing credibility as well. I ccd him what I sent to PQ and NEITHER of them have responded. Does anyone know who I can speak to apart from these. IS there a contact for Rosemary Treves Brown or whatever her surname is? As I said earlier I AM NOT ACCEPTING AN 11th SETTLEMENT, just so they can mess up my court schedule and get another 28 days before they have to part with the cash. JUST PAY UP IF ITS INTO IT"S FINAL WEEK GUYS

Cool, For hanging around so long after victory Dar£n. Give Saintly my best regards. I need some guidance though re Cap one. 1st can you mail / post a link re starting a cap one thread, or even better give me the knowledge to start my own thread on any given page/forum? Thanks. Cap One got my Subject access requestautolinker.com autolinking image back double quick - 1 week. But there are issues I need to discuss with someone. Unusual features arise!! Thanks.

E is E,

My line in court was -"We've agreed settlement but pay't not yet rec'd, can I respectfully suggest a short adjournment." And that's what the judge ordered. As it was a Prelim hearing, no bundle required and I didn't mention Time Off Work costs.

Good luck, Slick

I've just had a rather heated exchange with MR Quinn resulting in what I consider to be PARTIAL Victory. He's settled in full +costs and interestautolinker.com autolinking image, cleared funds in my account in 3-5 working blah blah blah. BUT I won't get anything for my time in preparing my bundle and I won't get anything towards the subsequent £350 they've applied in charges. I've still got a week. Advice please, but I realise its difficult to turn down full settlement. He was quite aggressive - tried to suggest I was thick - 'didn't understand his offer' which said it included interest bit didn't. Also threatened to pursue costs against me if I didn't accept and face me down in court with a barrister!

Ok...

Accept the full settlement offer but tell him you will be going through court to get a wasted costs order. If won't refund the new charges then im afraid you will have to start at square one with them ... see link below

COME ON WITHOUT, COME ONE WITHIN, YOU'LL NOT SEE NOTHING LIKE THE MIGHTY QUINN!

Apologies to anyone who doesn't remember these lyrics from a Mannfred Mann song in the late 1960s! (P.s. I'm not that old I just have a much bigger sister!)

Deposited funds in my account 1 week before hand - I do not believe this and will check again tomorrow. There is a warning attached though He offerd me less than was due through the old 3 card trick, suggesting interst and court costs were added when they were not. I will need to check the exact level of deposit because I scribbled it out along with the confidentiality clause when I faxed it back. The cheeky monkey surely cannot claw back my interestautolinker.com autolinking image just because he's settled at the 11th hour can he? PS i am not claiming victory just yet. I want wasted costs and my interest if it hasn't been included. Will check tomorrow. Think I'll let him sweat for his discontinuation notice! It can be at the 11th hour as well - but I'm still going to court to get wasted costs unless advice from this site suggests otherwise! PPS I won't take any advice from barclays lurkers. Responses good folk?

WON WON WON - COMPLETE CAVE IN FROM MR BIG CORPORATE JOB IN THE CITY "I'M A CORPORATE LAWYER"

OK, so thanks to all the BRILLIANT ADVICE on this forum, Dar£n, Saintly + oneofakind, Trucker and many others. Now I've got the confidence to take on something more serious and have already done so. LTSB refusing my wife Personal Protection Insurance against her loan at redundancyautolinker.com autolinking image because she was pregnant at time of redundancy. I've looked into this and I honestly beleive her company didn't flout the law, but my reckoning is LTSB did. And we have a pretty good claim! Can a moderator please show me how to a) make a contribution, b) post my victory and c) start a LTSB thread?
