Default Barclaycard collection

Hello. I'm new to CAGautolinker.com autolinking image.
Client of Barclaycard for 30 years.
Now having big bust-up
B'card bough, from Goldfish, my old Morgan Stanley Card account.
I work abroad.
B'card refuses to communicate by email.
I refused to make further payments to the old MS Card and my Bcard MasterCard until I got to the bottom of what precisely Bcard had paid for my account, since it was sold to them without my consent.
Bcard never replied to the request, and have now handed the MS card account to a company called first creditautolinker.com autolinking image that has posted a default on my credit fileautolinker.com autolinking image.
Bcard has now handed the Mastercard account to company called Robinson Way that has begun to harrass for payment.

I have asked repeatedly, all 3 companies to explain their legal position.
Bcard told me in writing that the debts were sold. but would not tell me the sales price
First Credit and Robinson Way continue to maintain that they are simply Agents for Barclaycard.

How do I get to the truth of the matter ????

Hi and welcome to the CAGautolinker.com autolinking image

they will not divulge what they consider financial sensitive material.

as these accounts have now been past to 1st crudautolinker.com autolinking image and robbingscum way, I would suggest the best thing to do in the first instance is send each DCAautolinker.com autolinking image a cca request to make them provide the agreements, and also send Barclays a Subject access requestautolinker.com autolinking image request for all details of the 2 accounts

Hi Knightsward,

Further to PGH's comments, Morgan Stanley (MSDW) a/c's were taken over by Goldfish who were in turn taken over by BC. As these were commercial take-overs or transactions, I would say your a/c, along with thousands of others, was bought with no specific value relevant to you.

This is different to when BC sell a defaulted a/c to a DCAautolinker.com autolinking image for a very low percentage (less than 10% of the a/c balance).

In either case, I think the amount paid for the a/c has nothing to do with you on an individual basis. More importantly, BC's failure to tell you this does not put your account into a valid dispute.

So the a/c balance will be pursued by BC or DCA's and you will be defaulted because of this.

If you want to see if BC have a valid credit agreement for your present a/c, start with the CCA request - http://www.consumerforums.com/resour...request-letter
